Hand In Hand

From the very first moment of her life, your child is learning the things she’ll need to know to be a successful adult. You are your child’s first and most important teacher, especially in his first two years.

Fortunately, helping your child learn is fun and easy, because play is how your baby learns. Play with your baby—Peek-a-Boo, make faces, talk baby talk, sing to him, tickle her toes, read a book together. These are your teaching tools. They make your baby’s brain grow and develop.

It only takes a few minutes every day when you and your baby are already doing something together. Talk to your baby when you’re changing his diaper. Describe what she can hear or see or feel. Sing to your baby when he’s nursing. Play Peek-a-Boo when she’s happy and well rested. Comfort your baby when he’s upset. Remember, you can’t spoil a baby.
